Cube – square - ball – stone

In a cube with sides made of square panels of metal mesh, we have captured a big ball – the light bulb and placed stone onto half of the cube. With geometric bodies we have created the CAGE lamp, ready to be placed on a dresser or the floor.

Although we called it CAGE, the lamp is very airy, because when the light from the light bulb lights up the wired mesh, it becomes somewhat invisible. You can only see the stone limited from four sides.

This pure geometry allows it to fit into a very modern space, devoid of many details and colours, but also into a classical room, because due to its simplicity it fits into almost every style.

It perfectly matches the dresser, nightstand, coffee table or even the floor, illuminating the space on all sides. The stones at the lower part almost create a sculpture which is pleasant to the eye even when the light is turned off.

We will not mind if one day you replace our stones with something of your own, pebbles brought home from your holidays or just taken from the neighbourhood. The colour and shape options therefore are unlimited and depend only on you. We will be happy to publish photos of your own creations.

In order to test how the CAGE lamp fits into space, we have organized a photo shooting for the lamp in the popular hostel “Swanky mint” in Zagreb’s longest street - Ilica. And we have to admit that the Cage lamp fits perfectly on a dresser, a table, a renovated chair and even on the floor.

The hostel has a funky design, with industry, modern things and things from forgotten times, and above all the people, who created it and work there every day, give it a special charm.
